It's like a Dream.....

Panama City Beach Umbrella

Single palm tree and the view at the beach

Two palm trees close to the beach

Three "sisters" are overlooking the beach

It's like a dream....isn't it?
Wish you were here - with me in Panama City Beach!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Happy Valentine's Day

If I could be the postman
For just one single time,
I'd choose to carry Valentines
So lovely and so fine.
I would not mind the heavy load,
Or mind my tired feet.
If I could scatter happiness
All up and down the street.

Shrimp Boats and a Rainbow

Shrimp boats in the harbor, waiting for the next day work

Last sunbeams over the harbor region in Apalachicola

The sun is gone and there is only tranquility left over the water

The evening comes slow over the bay area

This picture was made two hours ago the others above - after a big short rain was a wonderful, huge rainbow to see in the sky

These are my last pictures from Apalachicola. Soon I will post more from another destination from my travels in Florida. Stay tuned - and enjoy!

Shrimp Boat and Elvis Presley

Song of the Shrimp Lyrics

Artist(Band):
Elvis Presley

(Words & music by Bennett - Tepper)

I saw three shrimp in the water,
two were old and gray

I swam a little bit closer and ..
I heard the third one say

Goodbye mama shrimp,
papa shake my hand

Here come the shrimp boat for to take me to Louisian'

Here come the shrimp boat for to take me to Louisian'

He showed his mama and papa, the shrimp newspaper he read

An invitation to all the shrimp and this is what it said

Free ride, New Orleans, stay in grand hotel

Meet Creole gal who help you come out of your shell

Meet Creole gal who help you come out of your shell

If I should live to be ninety, I will never forget
The little shrimp and the song he sang as he jumped into the net

Goodbye mama shrimp, papa shake my hand

Here come the shrimp boat for to take me to Louisian'

Here come the shrimp boatfor to take me to Louisian'

Here come the shrimper for to take me to Louisian'

Here come the shrimper for to take me to Louisian'
Here come the shrimper for to take me to Louisian'

Apalachicola - Evenings lights in the harbor

Evening lights in the harbor in a little rain in Apalachicola in north Florida's Panhandle. The birds were fighting for their food by the old shrimp boats.
